In September, a baby boy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. This was no regular baby, however. He weighed 72 pounds, had big floppy ears, and will someday have a horn on his head.

A Big Birthday!
The Cincinnati Zoo recently welcomed a brand-new Sumatran rhinoceros. The hairy baby is the first Sumatran rhino to be born at a zoo in more than 100 years.
The baby rhino was born on September 13. Zoo workers say the baby is healthy. He stood up when he was only a few hours old! Recently, the baby was named Andalas.
