ABSTRACT
Undifferentiated bovine respiratory disease is the primary cause of feedlot cattle morbidity and mortality losses in the first 45 days after arrival at a feeding facility. Given constant differences in case fatality rate and re-treatment rate between two treatments, the dollars available to move to the more effective treatment is greater when sale price is high or cost of gain is low.
