A disposable dressing and support unit for holding standard cotton gauze pads in place on a wound has been developed by a US company called No Mulligens. US Patent 6 258 051 claims the invention provides painless access to the wound.
The company from Aurora, Colorado, says the unit conforms to various parts of the patient's anatomy, such as the torso, head, limb or hand.
