I'VE been hairdressing for over 10 years and I used to get really chapped sore skin on my hands. It drove me mad because it made it difficult to hold scissors properly.

Eventually I started wearing gloves every time I handled chemicals and dried my hands thoroughly. It sounds obvious but it did the trick. I think all the sprays have given me asthma too - I certainly never had it as a kid - so I make sure there's plenty of ventilation ...
