DAVAO CITY, Nov 29 Asia Pulse - The Philippines' Davao City will allocate P4 million (US$77,294) in next year's annual budget for an extensive tourism and investment promotional campaign aimed at attracting tourists and investors from Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.
Vice Mayor Luis Bonguyan said plans are already underway to aggressively promote Davao City in the three neighboring nations.
"They have an aggressive business sector," Bonguyan said. "I think we need to double our tourism and investment promotion efforts because businessmen in these countries are really looking for new areas for their money."
