With many fabricators and contract manufacturers grabbing headlines when it comes to mergers, a few suppliers have also joined the fray. Just a few short months ago, Mania Technologie and Barco formed a joint venture, ManiaBarco, in which both companies united their optical test, imaging and software activities. Unlike most mergers, where two companies become one, this merger resulted in two companies becoming three companies.
