There was no hesitation from the Everett coaching staff. The Crimson Tide hadn't come this far to play for a tie.
After Frank Nuzzo's 1-yard dive sliced the Bridgewater-Raynham lead to 7-6 with 30 seconds left, Everett coach John DiBiaso made the snap decision to go for the two points and the potential win.
The gamble paid off as Gennaro Leo sprinted all the way to the right pylon and hurdled over a sea of Trojans defenders to give the Crimson Tide (11-1) an 8-7 victory in yesterday's Division 1 EMass Super Bowl at Boston University.
