OAKLAND, Calif. _ Oakland police Monday arrested the husband of Luci S. Houston, the San Jose Mercury News photographer who was shot to death last month and left inside of her company car.
The Mercury News has learned that Raymond Houston, 39, at the request of the Oakland Police Department, turned himself in Monday afternoon and is facing a homicide charge.
A 3 p.m. PST press conference was scheduled to discuss the arrest. As of 1:30 p.m. PST, Houston had not been formally charged and no arraignment had been set.
