The late literary celebrity Truman Capote's 1966 Black and White Ball has been described as ''The Most Exquisite of Spectator Sports.''
Cincinnatians attended their own equally spectacular Black and White Ball as the Cincinnati Ballet presented its all new, annual Nutcracker Ball in the ballroom of downtown's Hyatt Hotel.
The spirit of Capote was evoked with the rendition created by co-chairs Joe Rigotti, Doris Marks Callis, Nancy Brinker, and Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney along with a dedicated, hard-working committee.
