NEW YORK-Curvy, undulating shapes, increased use of color, and inspiration from nature have provided the design impetus for the new crystal giftware that will be shown at the Fall Tabletop Show here this week.
Stemware introductions are not as numerous as those in the giftware category, and new stems are primarily extensions of popular lines, or those that complement best-selling dinnerware patterns. Barware is a big category at this market, with new shapes and colors. And spring holidays have spurred a number of promotional pieces.
