MODELLING clothes for aspiring fashion designers in Paris was an ideal way for Joanne Carter to supplement her minimum wages when she was performing in Snow White and Cinderella costumes at Disneyland.

Aged 20, she was mingling in the fashion world of the French capital and perfecting the art of gracefully walking down the catwalk.

Despite her attractive, willowy figure and striking facial features, Jo was self-concious and the more she slipped in and out of outfits for the benefit of the camera, the more she wanted to be on the other side of the lens.
