In rapid-fire fashion, the Italian injection press supplier:

* Made an initial public offering Nov. 6 on the stock exchange in Milan, Italy.

* Announced Nov. 22 that it was buying Oima SpA, a smaller Italian press supplier.

* By month's end, had become an acquisition target itself, when the Italian company that makes Sacmi compression molding machines said it wanted to buy Negri Bossi.
