DENVER -- Archstone-Smith announced that its Board set a new annualized dividend level for 2002 of $1.70 per common share, or $0.425 per quarter -- a 3.7% increase over the dividend of $1.64 paid in 2001.
The Board also declared Archstone-Smith's first quarter 2002 dividend of $0.425 per common share, payable on February 28, 2002, to common shareholders of record on February 14, 2002. This represents the company's 105th consecutive common share dividend.
