NEW DELHI, Dec 7 Asia Pusle - New Zealand has announced plans to relax immigiration standards to encourage more business migrants and knowledge economy workers, and expects a 200 per cent increase in Indian applicants.
This was stated by the visiting New Zealand Minister for Commerce, Communications and Information Technology Paul Swain at the 10th Joint Meeting of the Indian and New Zealand Joint Business Council here.
"We are actively recruiting skilled migrants. We are particularly interested in IT professionals and expect a 200 per cent increase in number of applications for permament residency from India this year," he said.
