An audience member at the VOA Women's Correction Center in Roseville was beaming after watching a performance of "The Furies" by Ten Thousand Things last week.
She explained to visitors that she'd been wrestling with anger issues and found epiphany watching the mythical Furies in this Greek drama transform from virulent rage into a sedated force for justice.
"If the Furies can change, then I can, too," she said. "I really believe that."
Then off she went to share her happiness with members of the company who had brought Aeschylus' drama to life for this audience.
