LIVERPOOL city council leader Mike Storey is to join the board of the North West Development Agency.
He is one of six new directors to be appointed by DTI Secretary of State Patricia Hewitt.
Agency chairman, Lord Thomas of Macclesfield said:
"Our six new board members bring with them a wealth of experience from a variety of businesses, organisations and backgrounds."
Coun Storey is joined by Trafford Council deputy leader Pauleen Lane; former British Nuclear Fuels boss, Neville Chamberlain; Manchester University vicechancellor, Prof Sir Martin Harris and Granada TV's managing director Brenda Smith, who is also a director of Liverpool ...
