SCRAPIE is a relatively uncommon disease in the Welsh flock.
Most flock-masters thankfully will have not seen a case but in view of the increasing interest in this disease over recent weeks many have asked what the actual symptoms are.
What is Scrapie?
Scrapie is an incurable disease affecting the central nervous system of adult sheep.
How common is it?
Although widespread in geographical terms it is relatively uncommon and in affected flocks usually just one or two cases occur from year to year.
How is it spread?
