PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The local LANZHOU ALUMINIUM CO. currently operates an aluminum smelter with an installed production capacity of 205,000 metric tons per year (mt/y) at Lanzhou city in Gansu province. And, the company is currently gearing-up to expand its output by another 150,000 mt/y in a second development phase.
As things currently stand, the company has completed a project feasibility, which has now been submitted to the state for approval. The company is also said to be in the process of raising new funds for the upgrade project of undisclosed cost.
