NOT a single bus, tram or train will run on Boxing Day in the Midlands this year, it emerged today.
The decision by transport operators will leave thousands of people across the region wanting to visit the sales, football matches, pantomimes, nightspots and relatives stranded unless they walk, drive or pay a premium price for taxis.
The absence of any public transport has sparked fears that the Government's tough anti-drink drive message will be seriously undermined.
