NEWHALL - The name Gervin popped up in the conversation, and Brandee Jones, like any basketball junkie, smiled.
``We're anxious to get playing,'' Jones said of his Master's College's game against Azusa Pacific tonight at Bross Gym. ``And George Gervin's nephew.''
George ``Iceman'' Gervin, Basketball Hall of Famer, is one of the game's all-time icons. He's kin to Cougars' junior guard Caleb Gervin, a transfer from a major NCAA Division I school (Louisville) but only an eight-point-scoring reserve at his new school.
Name-dropping the Iceman hasn't equated into extra playing time for Caleb Gervin. And ...
