Dec. 11--If ANC Rental Corp. gets its way, you won't see National Car Rental sponsoring the halftime reports during the upcoming four games of the Bowl Championship Series broadcast on ABC.
And you won't see National as the title sponsor of the golf tournament held each fall at Walt Disney World.
Ailing ANC Rental, which filed for Chapter 11 reorganization on Nov. 13 in Wilmington, Del., has sought a bankruptcy judge's permission to back out of seven marketing agreements that combined are worth at least $10 million annually.
