SIAMESE twins were successfully separated yesterday in the longest operation of its kind performed in Britain.
The two, who are believed to have been joined at the back, are said to be doing well.
Their overjoyed parents are expected to reveal their identities today.
The surgery on the babies, who are thought to be just a few months old, was described as ' pioneering' by hospital sources.
