Dec. 13--General Motors Corp., on the back of "the best truck-product lineup of any company in the history of the planet," finally has momentum and is ready to reverse a 14-year decline in market share, said GM product head Bob Lutz.
Lutz singled out the company's popular 0-percent financing program and the fact that GM has sold 150,000 more light trucks this year than last -- compared to declines at both its crosstown rivals -- as evidence GM is finishing strong in 2001 and is poised for better results in 2002.
