A CHESHIRE man has admitted causing harassment with mobile phone text messages, in what is believed to be one of the first cases of its kind.
Richard Parkes, 27, of Riveacre Brow, Overpool, Ellesmere Port, admitted two counts of intimidation and one of harassment by breaching a binding over order when he appeared at Knutsford Crown Court yesterday.
He was remanded on bail for pre-sentence reports and will be sentenced next month.
Releasing him on bail, Judge Geoffrey Kilfoil warned that he would be breaching his bail conditions if he made any telephone calls to his victim.
