SANITATION GOES TO THE SUPER BOWL
NEW YORK, Jan. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Four workers from a sanitation district in Brooklyn who competed in the Department of Sanitation's seventh annual "Scorecard Super Bowl" street cleaning contest have won all-expense paid trips to this month's Super Bowl XXIV in New Orleans, it was announced by Sanitation Commissioner Brendan Sexton.
The winners were: Sanitation Workers Richard Stasio of Bayshore, Long Island, and James Champ Jr. of Jamaica, Queens, and Supervisors Michael Grady of Gerritson Beach, Brooklyn, and Salvatore Catapano of Massapequa Park, Long Island. They were chosen in a random drawing from among 24 ...
