Access control is fast becoming one of the hottest sectors in the security industry. The results are in and, according to last month's SDM 2001 profile study, access control generated $1.4 billion in sales revenue.
New access products combined with more sophisticated integrated access control systems have, paved the way for continued growth in its particular market.
The data doesn't lie; 74 percent of dealers currently purchase access control for resale, up four percent from 1999.
