Dec. 13--Crista Ministries on Tuesday sold its Hood Canal Alderbrook Inn to North Forty Lodging.
The Seattle-based religious organization, which had owned the property since 1998, also sold the Alderbrook Golf and Yacht Club to local property owners, said spokeswoman Sara Shaffer. The resort's water system was sold to Mason County Public Utilities District No. 1.
No layoffs are planned among the approximately 80 employees.
The sale price of the resort and golf course was not disclosed. The water system sold for $300,000, Shaffer confirmed.
