So, General Custer is going to the Rose Bowl. Imagine that. Not that they don't deserve each other.
And for its next act of absurdity, the Bowl Championship Series will refloat the Titanic and enter it in the America's Cup. Just after it gets an Emmy for Jim Belushi.
We will not bother to sort out the geekish computations that allow such things to happen, because we saw the bodies. We saw the Nebraska Cornhuskers spread out like cowpies across the prairie.
