The exports of Brazilian metal silicon, a business worth US$25mil per year, are the center of a dispute between Brazil and the US. The result may be growth of such figure for more than US$50mil and mainly the knock down of barries that hinder the entrance, in the US, of steel alloys, aluminum and other types of steel produced in Brazil.
