Dec. 14--WILKES-BARRE, Pa.--Joseph Rescigno had agreed to sell the Classic Bride building on South Main Street to the city for demolition to make way for development, but because the city failed to close the deal twice, he says he is reconsidering.
He said he might reopen a business in the building in February, but he didn't elaborate.
Rescigno, who, with his wife, owns Classic Bride at 68 S. Main St., said the new store won't carry bridal gowns. He said he had to liquidate three floors of inventory and equipment before the planned Nov. 15 closing ...
