A CRIME PREVENTION CONFERENCE ON JAN. 26
DETROIT, Jan. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The Teens, Crime and the Community division of the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) will co-sponsor a crime prevention conference Jan. 26 at Hutchins Middle School.
The NCPC, which has headquarters in Washington, D.C., and is 50 to 60 percent government funded, is best known for developing nationally the McGruff dog "Take a Bite Out of Crime," campaign.
Along with Upward Entrepreneurial Consultant Services, the local co-sponsor, Hutchins Middle School, will host the conference from 1 to 5 p.m., ...
