A HAPPY BLASS AND A SLOWLY RIPENING JACOBS
NEW YORK -- Monday was "Save the Animals" day on SA. Bill Blass did animal prints for his Lunching Ladies, while at Perry Ellis, Marc Jacobs did them for his latter-day Mia Farrows. But the most interesting idea of the day came early on when Rebecca Moses took lace to lenghts it had never gone to before -- including the introduction of lace jeans. Thank God Norma Kamali gave up all that Retro and made a comeback -- in of all places, Central Park.
