HAMILTON, Bermuda and NEWPORT BEACH, California--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 18, 2001--Scottish Annuity & Life Holdings, Ltd. (Nasdaq:SCOT) announced today that its shareholders approved the acquisition of World-Wide Reassurance Company Limited at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on Friday, December 14, 2001, in Bermuda.
Shareholders approved all four proposals presented at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders that will enable Scottish Annuity & Life to close the transaction by the end of the year.
