What do you think of the picture we painted of a bright, new, greatly expanded role MEs will be playing in the '90s? Is this really you or someone from Mars? Is there evidence this is actually happening anywhere yet?
Our June reader survey on the changing role of the manufacturing engineer drew over 1200 responses, nearly half with comments for us to consider. We tabulated the basic data and presented the results in September, and now we'd like to review a cross section of those individual sentiments and ideas.
