INGRID SISCHY: The last time we talked, it was about where the new frontiers are. It was a theoretical conversation, and we were both wishing to see things that pushed and discovered more about new frontiers in art, in science and in culture. It was before September 11. Since then, many of those new frontiers have become all too clear. What's been going through your mind?
