IF RICKY WATTERS has played his final game as a Seahawk, that's too bad.
This has nothing to do with the promise of Shaun Alexander, the franchise's rising star running back.
He was always the future, and now his time has come doubly fast, with Watters knocked out of action for the second time this season.
This time, the cracked right ankle Watters suffered in the fourth quarter of the Seahawks' 29-3 victory over Dallas on Sunday means Watters is done for the season.
His MRI yesterday told a lot more than just about a broken bone. It told the future.
