BOSTON -- The Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston awarded $5.8 million to fund 139 units of affordable rental and ownership housing in New Hampshire. $2.2 million of that funding was in the form of grants and subsidies. These awards were part of $16.4 million committed by the Bank to finance 48 affordable-housing initiatives throughout the six New England states. These projects, funded in part through the bank's Affordable Housing Program (AHP), will create or preserve 916 rental and ownership units for very low-, low-, and moderate-income individuals and families.
