If you're lurking eagerly under the mistletoe but the love of your life is cowering on the other side of the room, it's probably easy to sniff out the problem.
Dr. Robert Minnis, a dentist in Centennial, believes many people keep an arm's length from their partners because of bad breath.
``I really do think it has to be tough to live with someone who has chronic bad breath,'' Minnis said. ``A lot of times, people with bad breath don't even know it, because they've gotten used to it and just don't smell it like a spouse or co-worker does.''
