GM COMPLETES DISTRIBUTION OF VACATION PAY, PAID ABSENCE ALLOWANCE
DETROIT, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- General Motors said today that it has completed distribution of $424 million in annual vacation pay and paid absence allowance to approximately 186,000 U.S. hourly employees with seniority dates between July 1 and Dec. 31.
Of the total payment, $392 million was for vacation pay and $32 million was for paid absence allowance during the eligibility period.
In addition, last July GM distributed $323 million in vacation pay and paid absence allowance to approximately 145,000 U.S. hourly employees with seniority dates between Jan. 1 and June 30.
