FAIRFAX, Va. -- The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) and Household International , the nation's oldest consumer lender, are launching the first year of a four-year, $1 million commitment to UNCF's Corporate Scholars Program. Linking the classroom to the world of work, the program gives deserving minority students the tools they need to be successful in corporate America.
As an integral part of Household's commitment to this program, 10 college students from diverse backgrounds will receive an eight-to-10-week paid summer internship at Household and will have the opportunity to earn an academic scholarship sponsored by the company. During the internship, they ...
