What at kind of a year was 2001?
It appears to have been pretty much a replay of 2000. Despite great pessimism at the start of the year, the micrographics and hybrid imaging-related end of the document management/storage/retrieval industry was still around and fairly healthy at the end of the year. With exceptions of course.
Regional and mid-size service houses did well in both traditional microfilm conversions and, increasingly, more straight scanning and film-to-digital conversions plus web hosting of information.
