Dec. 16--BRIDGETOWN, Barbados--A long-running fishing dispute between Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago has taken a new twist, with Barbados adopting a tougher stand on products and people coming from the oil-rich, twin-island state.
Trinidadians and Tobagonians living here illegally are facing a quick deportation. And the Barbados government is having a long, hard look at the volume of imports from Port of Spain to determine if trade curbs are necessary.
