OAKLAND_Warriors center Erick Dampier, who has missed the past two games because of a hyperextended left knee, isn't expected to return for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers and might miss Friday's game against the Houston Rockets.
Dampier, who sustained the injury midway through the third quarter of the Warriors' 101-88 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, said if he doesn't play against the Rockets, he'll be ready to go for a game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Jan. 2, the first game of a four-game road trip for the Warriors.
