Osseo might not be moving to a four-day school week, after all.
State education officials and School District officials said Friday that the Osseo school board's vote on Dec. 4 may have been premature. Such a dramatic change in a district's schedule requires approval by the commissioner of the state Department of Children, Families and Learning.
And before that can happen, the district needs to submit a detailed plan to the state and then hold three informational meetings with teachers, parents and the community. Only after those hearings and state approval could a board vote to ...
