FEW ACTORS are remembered for their bons mots. An exception is the late Sir Dirk Bogarde and his famous line: 'I'm still in the shell and you haven't cracked it yet, honey.' This was delivered in the course of a long, in-depth interview in 1986 with Russell Harty at the converted farmhouse in Provence that Bogarde shared for 17 years with his friend and business manager, Tony Forwood, in which Harty attempted, unsuccessfully, to probe the actor's sexuality.
