HSUS HORSE CRUELTY BUST IN HEART OF HORSE COUNTRY
WASHINGTON, Feb. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) ended an eight-month investigation into cruelty at horse auctions in the seat of Virginia's horse country this weekend with the arrest of one man and the seizure of three horses.
The bust at the Front Royal, Va., Livestock Exchange on Feb. 3 was initiated by The HSUS, with assistance from the American Horse Protection Association, the Animal Protection Association of America, the Warren County Humane Society, and the Warren County Sheriff's Department.
