AUSTIN, Texas -- Encore Medical Corporation and Chattanooga Group, Inc. announced today that they have set February 8, 2002 as the date that the previously announced acquisition is to be consummated. The parties expect that after the holiday season and the new year, they will work full speed to complete the transaction on this agreed upon time schedule.
