THIS has been quite an exciting year for me, when I look back over it.
It's not every year you get taught to be a trapeze artist, which I did for a TV programme, and though it was exciting at the time, somehow I doubt if it will be the start of a new career. I'm much better with my feet planted firmly on the ground.
There's one thing about trapeze training, though. It's done wonders for my shoulder muscles, so I shouldn't have any trouble with the winter digging.
Garden-wise, I haven't spent half as long working in my own garden as I'd have liked, but on the other hand I've done loads of very varied projects in ...
