TAMPA, Fla. -- Amscot Financial announced today that 2001 has been another successful year for the Company's ongoing program of supporting the communities in which it operates.
In 2001 Amscot Financial continued its sponsorship of the University Area Community Development Corporation, an organization whose mission is to help revitalize low-income neighborhoods in the University area of Tampa. Amscot Financial was pleased to help provide toys for this organization's Winter Holiday Festival, which gave toys to 1200 needy children.
