STATE POLICE PROMOTES THREE TO MAJOR, THREE TO CAPTAIN
HARRISBURG, Pa., Feb. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Col. Ronald M. Sharpe, commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Police, today announced the promotions of three officers to the rank of major and three officers to the rank of captain, effective immediately.
Sharpe said the promotions are the result of vacancies created by the reorganization of senior level management within the State Police Jan. 5 when the number of deputy commissioners was increased from one to three.
